    I use a membership plugin. Membership Platinum can see both post types ‘article’ and ‘job’, and membership Public can see only post type ‘article’.

    Both ‘article’ and ‘job’ post types have ‘categories’. Say that one of category terms is ‘education’. Do I have to create a taxonomy call ‘job_category’, so that, if a public check box ‘education’, then only ‘articles’ that has ‘education’ category will go to his email, and ‘job’ that has ‘education’ category will not go to his email?

    Or that the public will not see posts in ‘job’ ‘education’ category?

    Membership starts to make things complicated but it can be made to work. You can specify categories that only send to Registered subscribers, that may help you.
