Hi there,
This is unusual, since Membership uses the default WordPress settings. Do the special characters appear elsewhere in the admin pages?

Hi @mt78
As ellbristow points out this is controlled in the WordPress settings.
Please have a look at this website where a similar problem is discussed: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-fix-the-character-encoding-problem-in-wordpress-1480
It could be wp-config.php or your database that need altering, or perhaps both.
I hope this helps!

Hi Mike,
this is true. Plugin installed database tables with Latin1_swedish_ci instead utf8_general_ci encoding. But still do not know if will be change useable.

I’m glad it’s installed properly. I hope you manage to change the other tables. If not, perhaps you can do it in phpMyAdmin.
