I’m running a multisite installation with 7 sites. It is setup as http://www.site.com/subsite. I’d like to setup membership plugin one time and have it work across all sites in my network. Essentially one membership for all sites in the network. Free teaser content would be each sites home page but a paid subscriptions would be required to drill in and read any complete articles. Is this possible with Membership or Membership Pro??

    Hi @marweis

I don’t think this is possible, you could install and network activate the plugin and as long people sign up to the main site then you might be able to partly achieve what you are looking for, however content on sub-sites will have to be protected separately I think.

Membership Lite is free though, so you can try it out and see how you get on 🙂

    Hi @marweis

I just spoke to a colleague, turns out I was completely wrong! Sorry about that.

You need to enable the following in your wp-config.php

    MEMBERSHIP_GLOBAL_TABLES
    MEMBERSHIP_GLOBAL_MAINSITE

You can see more information in the manual here, on page 67:

I hope this helps, and again I apologise for the misinformation!
