Memcache Issues

It seems the majority of websites I try to enable memcache on result in an error. After I enable it from cPanel, I usually get this error when trying to visit the website:
I’m unable to access wp-admin to enable the memcache option. Disabling it form cPanel fixes the issue, however I’d still like to use memcache eventually.
Any suggestions?
