    Hi,

I had an issue with WPML where when I tried to change one option, it was apparently saved, but when I left the page and came back the option was back to where it was.

    Please see this screencast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWLbwru9GPA

I deactivated all plugins other than WMPL, and the issue was found to be with SG Optimizer. I further tested several options within SG Optimizer, and the issue was fixed after I turned off Memcached.

I’m reporting this so that perhaps you guys can talk to the WPML team to try and fix this issue.

    Thank you.

It’s WPML not working properly with memcached. I would suggest that you reach out to their support since it’s a paid plugin. Meanwhile, just keep memcached off since it’s not something easily fixable and in the best case scenario they would need to patch their plugin…

Sorry but i don’t think is issue of WPML, there are similar problems with Polilang plugin after last updates of SG optimizer.

Hristo, I can share you credencials of a test-site.

    Thank you, Hristo,

I did open a ticket with WPML here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translation-of-themes-and-plugins-doesnt-work-with-memcached/. I hope you guys can talk with each other to seek a solution.

    Best regards

Multilingual plugins do not work well with memcached. I am afraid that there isn’t much we can do on our end to help them out, they just have to support it properly.
