    I just got my domain upgraded to php 5.3 and got this update.

    As soon as I put it to use (via the Shortcode Exec PHP plugin) I received the following error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1245184 bytes) in …/wp-content/plugins/php-browser-detection/cache/cache.php on line 4100

    I was attempting to use is_mobile();

    I attempted to use it on another page, in a customized version of the Vanilla PDF Embed plugin. I received the same message.

    Does this memory usage seem unusual, or do I need more memory to run WordPress?

    The site runs fine without php-browser-detection — I only get this error when I enable the plugin.

    My host informs me that running wordpress under php 5.3 will require more than 24MB, and advised me to change my php.ini file accordingly.

    Delete and reinstall worked for me. Something about updating automatically broke the plugin for me on multiple sites.

    That’s very strange — I wonder why? I’ll have to give that one a try.
    Thanks!
