Memory Size Error

I keep getting this error message when I try to select the “customize” option on my wordpress dashboard.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/nlantz14/public_html/natashalantz.com/wp-content/themes/onetone-pro/includes/theme-functions.php on line 655

My site seems pretty simple. Why would there not be enough memory? I am working on http://www.natashalantz.com. I am not a tech person, so any help in terms that I can understand would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @nlantz,
Maybe the issue is not that your memory size of 67MB is too small, but that there’s something in the theme causing a lot of memory usage. Is there any chance you could talk to your theme authors about this?

same problem for me this morning

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /data/18/3/15/129/3341618/user/3747082/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/deprecated.php on line 296

I have repeatedly tried to contact the theme authors with no response:(. I wish I knew what else to do. I am stuck.

@nlantz, Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If the issue persists then it is most likely an issue with your theme. As it’s a commercial theme we can’t unfortunately support it.

Try increasing your allowed memory to 128M
