    This is at the top of my wp_config.php file even though I uninstalled W3 Total Cache years ago and now use Siteground Optimiser.

    /** Enable W3 Total Cache Edge Mode */

    define(‘W3TC_EDGE_MODE’, true); // Added by W3 Total Cache

    /*

    Not producing error, but has come up as being potentially incompatible with a couple of my plugins. No evidence anywhere else (not in .htaccess, or any of the folders that others mentioned). And there’s no W3 plugin folder.

    Can I safely delete that code? Or do I just leave sleeping dogs lying?

    Yes, you can remove the code entirely, as it’s not needed. I am sorry you’ve had issues with the configuration and incompatibility.

    If you decide to give it another try, please let me know if I can assist you with any issues

    THanks!
