Good Morning

I am helping a friend create a website for their band. It has been several years since I worked with WP.

In the “menu” area I only need a facebook link, how can I remove the link placeholders for the other ones?

and secondly, is there a way to “move-up” the events widgets so there is not so much blank area above it and below the site identity?
