Menu admin, help section broken since woo update

Hello,

WP3.8.1

I stupidly clicked update on Woo’s V2.1: Man, what a headache!

Now, even though I’ve rolled back to a backup, I can’t select several buttons in the admin side. For instance, there used to be a little dropdown from ‘Help’ in the top right. Now, I click on it but the help doesn’t display: is this a way to make it harder to get on these forums and complain about broken updates?

Menu admin: i can’t add a ‘link’ or a ‘category’ – because the option to do so does not open when I click on it anymore.

Please, can anyone tell me how to get this stuff back?
