Hey, I’ve used WordPress for years and years.

I’ve got a brand new block theme, Ollie, thinking it was going to change the world! But I’m ready to go back and find a 2003 WordPress theme so I can have menus and edit them in a sane manner.

I do not understand how to edit menus without APPEARANCE/MENU option! My old menus from the old theme are still there, but the ones with sub-menus on them will not click to their destination.

I tried looking at them in the Site Editor under Navigation, but … I see no way to work with them.

Have I bitten off more than I can chew? The site is not accessible, please don’t give up on me about that, though. I can follow directions!

…. unless the directions start with “Go to Appearance an select menu….” because that’s been removed, and I can’t find it anywhere.

    Sign me Frustrated in 2025,

    deb

My solution was to revert to Twenty Twenty Five … where the menus work as they would. So I will keep building with the base theme instead.

Hey Deb, sorry for the delayed response, but here’s a video showing how to work with the navigation block. It works the same way in Twenty Twenty Five as it does with Ollie.
