Menu – CSS
-
I need to make changes to the current menu CSS but I am unable to find the CSS for it in the stylesheet.
What I need is the menu item to be green
On hover change to purple
and when active remain purple
At the moment, there’s a background color when active and on hover. I need this removed too.
The site is http://www.catarinabras.co.uk/tecnica-alexander/
Your help would be appreciated 🙂

Looks like you got it working
Hi youngmedia, unfortunately, I haven’t got this working yet.
You will see on the site that the menu items currently have a background color of purple when hovered or active, I need this gone.
What I need however is for the text to change color on hover and when active. Can you help?
Hi there 🙂
You can find the ‘ID’ in CSS for it, Is it right? Or you cannot use the CSS file?
If you can access to the CSS, let’s find ‘.navbar-nav li a:hover’.
If it’s right, let me know.
hey,
I have full access to the stylesheet however that ID (.navbar-nav li a:hover) isn’t in there.
There doesn’t seem to be any navbar IDs that refer to the menu.
Hi~
Did you use the child theme?
Did you search id through child theme css file?
When i checked your site by chrome, i found that this id i mentioned is used.
Hi,
No, I am not using a child theme as this isn’t where the original website will be hosted, so I am currently just using this domain to modify the theme.
I have searched in the stylesheet for that ID and even thou you say it’s mentioned, it does not show on the stylesheet.
