Menu Dropdowns
-
Hello,
I love the theme. I’ve tried many times, but I can’t figure out how to adjust the drop-down menus.
I would like for them to fall directly beneath the main menu item, and I would like to make the font smaller and increase the line-height between entries. Currently, sub-menu items look very jumbled.I figured out that increasing the top margin helps, but after that, I start messing things up.
Any help you could offer on how to do this properly would be appreciated. The site is http://library.drmasonsclasses.com.
Thank you,
Mason

I’m sorry menu items aren’t great. There isn’t much I can do here in the forums besides tell you about the Custom CSS feature in the customize page (in Other Options) and tell you that I’m planning a navigation menu overhaul.
O.K., thanks, I guess. It seemed to me that since you created the navigation menus, you would know best how to adjust them. Of course, I am aware that I use the custom CSS to adjust them, but the question was about how to adjust them.
At any rate, I was able to figure it out over the holidays. It was simple enough–something that I am sure you could have helped with.
Thanks,
MasonAlso, I wouldn’t really consider this “resolved,” as you did not really offer any useful support.
I’ve landed this in the next update (2.8.5 or 2.9, depending on which I go with). See this topic for a bit of what is going on right now with theme updates.
Scott, I use 3.0.1, great overall. If a main menu item X has sub-items and the next menu item Y has none, there seems to be no way for the user to select menu item Y. Sub items from X hide it. Also, it seems it would be much better if sub menu items were left aligned. Then the hierarchy would be clear to the user.
