• Hi all, I’m running into an issue with the menu editor in the WP Admin, where the pages under “show all” only shows 4 of the 8 child sub pages I have under a parent. I have about 6 parent pages that have 8 child pages. The missing child pages are showing up later on, but the relationship is lost and it’s hard to tell which one is which.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Jeff, do you mean that you have gone to Appearance–Menus, and you can’t find the subpages under the Pages box to add them to your menu?

Or are you using a menu editor in your theme? (What theme are you using?)

Hi Bet, thanks very much for your reply. Yes, you are correct, I’m going to Appearance–>Menus. There are 5 parent pages, each having 8 subpages, but I can only see 4. I am using the Canvas theme from Woo.

I have the role of Administrator, but I’m not the original admin of the site. They seem to be able to see the other subpages. Very strange. Have any ideas what this is?

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Bet, just found out that the other Admin has the same problem. Of the 8 subpages, only 4 show up under each parent. The other subpages are there, but they are just single pages and not organized under the parent.

The subpages under each parent have the same name. I can give examples if that helps.

Can you make sure that the subpages all have different urls? When you go to Pages, can you see all the subpages under their parent pages?
