I installed admin menu editor plugin and bbpress. I can see the normal wordpress roles like author, contributor etc. And I also see the bbpress roles like Participant, Spectator etc.

A user belongs to two roles, say Author (normal wordpress role) and Participant (bbpress role). If I want to display a menu for a user should I check the menu in both the roles? I played around checking and unchecking menus and it seems pretty random.

It sounds like this question might be about the Pro version of the plugin. Unfortunately, it’s against ww.wp.xz.cn rules to use these forums to provide support for paid plugins. Please contact me using the contact form instead.

It is a bbpress issue. I got the below reply in bbpress forum and it is resolved.

forums etc. are not for the dashboard part of the site for participants. Create a page and put this code in it
    [bbp-forum-index]

Then put this page into your site menu
