To add to the above, I have discovered the previous versions are all listed at https://themes.svn.ww.wp.xz.cn/evolve/
However, there is not a ‘download’ option.
Does anyone know where to get a download link of previous versions?
Hmmm. it looks like your site is fixed now, but just in case anyone else has the same question:
1. If you put your cursor over the “Download” link for the theme verion on the current page, you will see that the download link is:
https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/theme/evolve.3.7.6.zip
For previous versions, you simply need to correct the URL for the version you want, so version 3.7.5 would be:
https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/theme/evolve.3.7.5.zip
2. An easier way is simply to install the WP-Rollback plugin- https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-rollback/ — that makes it easy to switch among versions of any theme or plugin currently in the WP repository.

The site is not exactly how it was. The ‘Read more’ links are still a different colour (and no way to change them to another colour), and the social icons don’t appear in Chrome.
I’ve been using WP-Rollback but only for 10 days and had only done one backup – 2 days before the latest version upgrade.
I’ve now installed v3.5.0, which is the version you can see. It’s still not as per the earlier version, but without re-installing all previous version, I won’t know what one I had before v3.7.6. How do you discover what previous version I had?

Did you have a full site backup or just a database backup?
The version can be found in the top part of the theme/style.css file
So if you have a backup of the files from the previous installation, then you would look in wp-content/themes/evolve/style.css

You have to download any evolve version by below link, Only change your version number that you want to it.

and once you have uninstalled theme and after that, you have installed again theme your all theme changes lost if you have not taken backup your theme options.
So your case we think that you’re all theme options is lost so you have again set your theme options.
For change the button color of content boxes
Theme Options -> Shortcodes -> Button -> Button Gradient Top Color
Theme Options -> Shortcodes -> Button -> Button Gradient Bottom Color
and we have seen that your main menu is horizontal, not vertical
