    1. The menu doesn’t appear on mobile unless the Site Layout > Menu Layout setting is set to “Top, hamburger button + overlay”. [Also by default it was the same colour as the header background, so I didn’t realise it was appearing at all for some time.]

    2. When the Site Layout > Menu Layout setting is set to “Top, hamburger button + overlay”, submenu items do not appear on either PC or iPhone. This is the case even though “Site Elements > Hide submenu items in mobile menu” is not checked.

    3. When Site Layout > Menu Layout is set to “Top, right aligned (default)” the menu appears on PC as long as the window is at least 1024px wide. If the window is smaller, no menu appears. However, the submenu seems to add a large top border for some reason.

Ideally I’d like to have “Top, right aligned (default)” appear if the window is wide enough, and “Top, hamburger button + overlay” if on mobile.

    Hello @penmonicus,

    thanks for choosing Bento!

The mobile menu does appear on your website, but the icon is black and therefore not visible against the header’s background. Please see this thread (and the one linked there) for more information on setting the hamburger icon color.

    Thanks for your reply @satoristudio.

I have changed the burger menu to be white so it’s visible, but the menu only appears on mobile if the Site Layout > Menu Layout setting is set to “Top, hamburger button + overlay” which then forces the menu on a PC to be a hamburger button too.

I want to have the menu appear as “Top, right aligned (default)” on PC but when I set it as that, there’s no menu at all when viewing on a mobile.

The hamburger menu does appear on smaller screens with your current setup, but it’s grey on grey hence not very visible 🙂 please try the solution in my previous reply and let me know if it works for you

My apologies, I had only changed the colour of “ham-menu-trigger-stick”, not “mobile-menu-trigger-stick”!

    All sorted now, thank you!
