Menu items clickable instead of hoverable

    Hello!

    Is it possible to drop-down the submenus by clicking instead of hovering over the main menu items?

    Hi Lea,

    Thanks for using Period! I’m afraid there isn’t an option at this time to switch the menu items to be clickable instead of hovering for dropdown menus.

    Hi Ben,

    thanks for your fast reply! That’s too bad that there is no way to make the menu items clickable.

    Maybe you can consider to implement this in the future? I have chosen the period theme because it is highly accessible and that’s exactly what I need for my target group. However, when using a screen reader, the menu items are not visible as a dropdown menu.

    Okay I see. The dropdown menus should open automatically for keyboard users. When the parent menu item is focused, the dropdown will appear and allow for navigation without hovering with the mouse.
