Is it possible to remove this and leave the existing one at the top?

what menu you have on the left side bar?
Is it a widget?
could you be more precise?

Hi d4z. You have the menu at the top of the page (Header) but when you navigate you get a navigate bar down the left side as if it is like a widget.

As per link, the red arrow

That’s a breadcrumb. You can go to Customiz’it!>Pages & Posts Layout and uncheck the Display breadcrumb.

thanks guys, learning as I go along, only been playing about with WordPress a little while, see the breadcrumb option but didnt know it was for that.
