• I am very new to WordPress and I must say it is overwhelming. I added a custom menu to my site but some pages do not display the updated menu. How do I fix this? I have tried deleting the menu and making a new one but still nothing.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Also remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

I tried turning off all plugin(s) and still the same thing. I switched to the theme suggested and NONE of the pages loaded, swithed back to the theme I was using and when I try to click on the page I get a redirection error. Redirection will never complete.

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks and deleting/renaming any .htaccess files. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
