What theme are you using?
Hi Tara, gridicoulous 2015.
Not sure how that affects things?
We just want a simple site to post our music with maybe 3 or 4 areas/ pages.

When you say you added two widgets, are these widgets a feature of your theme, or are you using some plugin for that?
So please give some more details

Have you tried:
– Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
– deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
– If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
Hi Tara, I think I must have explained it wrong. We don’t have a major problem. We just want to have proper page tabs or a proper menu.
Page tabs as big as an ant are useless.
And clearing all caches/ plug ins etc, we have only been using wordpress 5 minutes!

I can’t understand why everything has been made so difficult?
All I have done since signing up is trawl around the internet trying to find resolutions to what should be basic needs. I haven’t touched my music at all!
