There was a bug that prevented the navigation block’s hover styles from taking effect. A fix has been released in Gutenberg 18.8 and will be in a WP point release soon. If not 6.6.1, then it’ll be in 6.6.2.
If you’re using the Gutenberg plugin on your site, I’d recommend updating it to get this fix sooner.
Regarding the other issues mentioned, when asking in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/twentytwentyfour/, if you can supply some example CSS selectors or screenshots of the matched styles in dev tools, that will help a lot.

Hi @aaronrobertshaw thanks for the aclaration about the hover problem, i don’t use Gutenberg so I will have to wait for the new WordPress updates.
