Hello, what you want is not possible because otherwise the parents links can not be clickable and the majority of users prefer a plus icon in order to click on all the links.

Hi,
thanks, I can understand that.
Maybe another possible solution:
If I can define the main menu initial state droped down or not per page then when I click the main menu title link, it loads his page and that page there is a menu initial state which is the droped down subcategories.
Is it theoretically workable?
Best regards,
Gyurci
Hello, I just checked, it is possible to do what you ask, if I understood correctly, you want to open your sub menus by clicking on the parent link, is not it?
If so, you simply need to create a custom links menu item and enter the url “#”.
Tell me if it’s ok for you 🙂

Hi,
yes, it works with hashtag, but I need to load the main menu link too.
So if I put a real link in it, then the menu works as earlier.
Sad news. : (

Hi,
I can show You a working example: http://www.lira.hu/hu/konyv/szepirodalom/
When You click on a left main menu which has submenus then the new page loads and the submenus are opened.
Best regards,

Ah okay, I misunderstood, sorry but this is not at all possible to do this with a menu, I think these are the categories.
I use the function menu of wordpress and it does not allow such a thing.
Sorry.
