I have setup WP -From Contact page on my website, so visitors can leave their contat details and ask for a quote.

I have integrated sendinblue to deal with SMTP issues.

If I send a test email from WP-Mail SMTP it arrives in my inbox. When I send from contatc form on website it does not arrive

This is what I see on WP-mail SMTP email test page

WP Mail SMTP has detected incorrect "wp_mail" function location. Usually, this means that emails will not be sent successfully!

It looks like the "Newsletter, SMTP, Email marketing and Subscribe forms by Sendinblue" plugin is overwriting the "wp_mail" function. Please reach out to the plugin developer on how to disable or remove the "wp_mail" function overwrite to prevent conflicts with WP Mail SMTP.

Current function path: /home3/l559732/maplelane.ie/wp-content/plugins/mailin/sendinblue.php:329 Send a Test Email The test email might have sent, but its deliverability should be improved. Domain Check Results warning icon SPF Action Needed: It doesn't look like the SPF record required by Sendinblue has been added to your domain. Please check out our step-by-step guide for details on how to add this record to your domain's DNS. success icon DKIM Success! The DKIM record required by Sendinblue is set up and working correctly. warning icon DMARC Action Recommended: It doesn't look like DMARC has been set up on your domain (maplelane.ie). We recommend using the DMARC protocol because it helps protect your domain from unauthorized use. Please check out our step-by-step guide for details on how to add this record to your domain's DNS.

Website tells me that SPF and DKIM are installed correctly. WP Forms tells em DMARC is not necessary or advised

    Hi @stuartwatkin

Thanks for reaching out and we’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your contact form emails.

As mentioned in the error message, one of your currently active plugins is conflicting with WP Mail SMTP.

If you intend on using the Sendinblue mailer, then you will need to disable your Sendinblue plugin.

Once that has been done, you should be able to send your emails without issues.

When setting up the Sendinblue mailer, did you perform all of the required steps mentioned in our documentation?

Please note that Sendinblue has also made a recent change in their domain verification process, so the lack of an SPF record might be a false positive and they’ve started requesting that a Sendinblue code be added instead.

Lastly, regarding the DMARC record, this is optional but recommended if you want to be informed if your emails fail to deliver.

    I hope this helps 🙂
