That a good idea, however not possible right now.
But right now i am working on it and an update will be available today 🙂
Ok, updates are available to download – V.1.9.4. You would find the no item text box on the “terms” or “posts” or “users” tab while creating a list. Configure it there and enjoy 🙂

Thanks! To update is it just case of uninstalling the plugin and installing the new one? Will any of the lists I have setup be deleted or are they stored in the DB?
No uninstall/install required. You will see the plugin updates right on your WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins page. Update through there. Existing list will exists as it is, nothing will be deleted or changed 🙂
