I have just upgraded to 2.8.04 and I still get the same message when adding a comment: “You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.”
Post a link to your site and i’ll happily test the comment form for you.

I am also getting this problem. I am using version 2.8.4. It works fine when I add a comment, but when when of our users tries it, he gets the error message when he tries to add a comment. He only tries to add a comments once every few days.

Sometimes when someone tries to add comments to a post on my blog, they get an error message that says: “You are adding comments too quickly”
I have seen that message myself at times, though not always. I understand the message when you have just added a comment and are trying to add another, but what causes it when you are adding the FIRST comment?
I have checked all the settings and I can not find a reason for this. And it does not always happen.
