Messed up data base.

Hello.
After cloning a site I got a new site with a data base, containing information from two sites. Somewhere there are 400 products and some settings from a previous one.
I’m really concerned it can slow down a new site.
Can anyone tell me, is it possible to clean it somehow. Is there any good tools for this task?
