If the user is not logged into facebook the bot doesn’t show up?

@netmike Thank you for reaching out! If will show up on the screen and show the messenger icon. It will ask the user to login to Facebook in order to chat with the bot.
If you’re logged out of Facebook in the browser it didn’t show up at all. This was at two different locations, and two different computers.
@netmike Sorry for the delay. Can you send me your webpage please? It should show up but there might be an error. I can probably figure it out if you send me the URl of your site. If not we can setup a screenshare and I can take a look.
If you’re completely signed out of Facebook is how we noticed the issue.
@netmike you are right! It is broken. I am going to have my engineering team fix this asap. I’m hoping they can fix it in the next 24 hours and I will keep you updated. Thank you for reporting this.
@netmike Can you try entering something into the logout greeting? That actually should fix it.

If any restrictions added to Facebook page, messenger will display only to logged in users. And wont display based on restriction settings.
please clear the country, age restriction.
From Facebook page -> settings -> General
please check
1. Page Visibility
2. Country Restrictions
3. Age RestrictionsThanks all

@netmike did you look into the solutions provided above? This is a well documented issue having to do with Country or Age restrictions in your Page Settings.
Essentially: if your Facebook Page is configured to only display to people in certain countries or of a certain age, Facebook will not allow us to display the plugin unless it can verify that the person who sees it matches those criteria.
Can you please follow the steps provided by @bhvreddy and confirm that your Page does not have Country Restrictions configured?
I believe it does — I sent it to my colleagues from outside the US and they were not able to see it.

I will double check that, but we tried being in the US and it wasn’t shown to us after logging out.
If you’re logged out, Facebook doesn’t know that you’re in the US so it will refuse to display the plugin.
This is apparently by design and there’s nothing we can do, since Facebook is blocking it.
I think I got it to work.
