Meta Description Not Showing on Twitter Post (version 7.6.0)

    My post on Twitter doesn’t change to include to the meta description content.
    Also, the post isn’t grabbing the only picture on the post’s page…
    I’m using the summary card.

    I have the same issue, except with 7.8, and WordPress 4.5.3. No twitter:description meta tag is produced. I have to add it myself to get it to work.
