    Hi,
when I search on Google for the name Fluidcare the result appears in the Google’s serp of the site, but in the meta-description just before the text that I entered with Yoast, there is the name that I gave to an image inserted on the homepage, just this I don’t want to show in the serp.

How can I go about eliminating it?

@drintro could you share with us the URL so we can check on the specific meta description tag this is being outputted from the Yoast SEO plugin?

    Hi @drintro,

Thank you for sharing the URL with us. We checked the page and see `
<meta name=”description” content=”Prendersi cura del fluido idraulico e della lubrificazione. Garantire la massima affidabilità passa attraverso fattori importanti. Scopri ora.”/>` as the meta description outputted by our plugin.

When we do a specific Google search on this URL, meaning we do a site:https://www.deltafluid.com/fluidcare/ search, we do see the same description.

Depending on a few factors, Google can still change the meta title or description despite you have configured a meta description in the plugin. We have a help article explaining this here: https://yoast.com/help/my-seo-title-isnt-displayed-as-i-have-entered-it/ and here https://yoast.com/help/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/.

    Hope this helps.
