Metaslider question

    A programmer I am NOT. I have a few MetaSlider slide shows plugged in to our page. This page on our site with 2 slide shows seems to work quite well on desktops/phones:

    The few that I use with a small number of images seem to work fairly well. Tried my best to optimize each image, and used jpg images that were not overly large in regards to the the file sizes. My boss would like to install a slide show with a large quantity of slides (300 plus), and I am unsure if there is a method of doing this. The provider we used to use, had a plug in where I had over 500 PNG images of fairly large dimensions, and it never had any issues. It seems that when I try to add more than a few images to the plug in, it fails to display the images, and the slideshow locks up, especially on a phone or tablet. Hoping there is something simple that I missed when using the MetaSlider plug in settings. For your consideration, I thank you.

    Hi,

    MetaSlider should work fine with big number of images. Can you please create a test page and reproduce the issue on it and share its link with me?

    I need to see the issue on your website to check it.

    Thank you so much for your reply. Sorry, but I have actually deleted the old slide shows that failed, and started building a new one in hopes that I made an error while building some of the earlier versions that I had worked on. For the moment, the new one I have built seems to be working. I have only loaded a relatively small amount of photos to it so far. I am in the midst of optimizing the images that I used on our old web page, and injecting them into the new slide show on our current page. I’m hoping (at least my boss is also) that I can load at least 100 images onto this slide show, and that it still functions. Link supplied below.
