I have meteor-slides working, sort of.
BUT: It is impossible for me to adjust the height of the slideshow. First I had a very huge header with >100pix of free space btw the show and the top menu. Could not fix it.
Now I set the height of the show to 300, then added 3 new pics also 300 height. But as you can see, the height is now 160…!!!

I am not sure about which settings will overrule others. I have put this code to the Site Header Insert Code box, HTML insertion: <div class=”aligncenter”>[meteor_slideshow]</div>

Dont I start with the slideshow settings, defining height and width?
And then add the pics with max this height?
Header Image Height is also set to 300 if relevant.
    Thanx in advance

Hi Jesper, it looks like you have the slideshow set to the correct dimensions. The slide images are cropped to fit those dimensions when they are uploaded, so if you have changed those dimensions, you need to re-upload the slide images.

You will get the best results by sizing your slide images in an image editor to match the slideshow exactly before uploading them to WordPress.

Also, you can change the slideshow alignment using metadata.

My slides are getting cropped to a height of 500px but the images themselves are not cropped, just in the slideshow are they cut off.

I figured it out, The slider automatically adjusts to the height of the 1st slide. So I put the tallest slide first.
