I would like to construct a Frequently Asked Questions section for our site, and it seems like a workable method would be to devote 1 post to each Question/Answer pair. I would start by doing one post for each Q/A pair we already have (about a dozen), and then just add new posts as future questions come in and get answered.

I’m thinking that would allow better searching of the content overall, and that a good layout arrangement would limit the number of posts displayed per page to 5 maximum.

Does this idea make sense? And, if so, where do I specify the limit on posts per page, and how would I automatically add a breadcrumb function at the bottom of the page to direct readers onward to additional pages?

    Thank you.

  • The idea makes sense, but there are plugins available that handle a FAQ structure. Have you looked into any of those?

Thanks, Mark. No, I wasn’t aware of any dedicated FAQ plug-ins. Can you point me to some?

    Hi eyedomedia,

You can use Ultimate Shortcode plugin. It has a lot of features you can use.

After installed this plugin, open the page editor and click insert shortcode option and choose ‘According’ option.

It will help you to create FAQ section.
