Migrate from Custom DB to WordPress DB

If you want to export your data from a custom DB to WordPress’s schema, you’re going to have to do a lot of custom coding.

This link tells you what we have already by way of easy-import:

But without knowing the details of your DB schema, I can only speculate that this is a seriously custom job and you may need to hire a DB expert.

Manually copy the data over post by post?

You’re talking about a CUSTOM setup right now. No one has a quick/easy way to convert something they’ve never seen into WordPress 🙂
