    Hello, how are you?

I need some help here… I have a webiste created with Hueman theme. I use the WordPress internal version, but, as I notice some features that I need are available in author website version, I´d like to migrate to it.

I have no customizations in theme, but a lot of settings defined, colors, sizes, etc, from the theme options panel.

Who is the best way to migrate from one to another version, without lose my settings and without any kind of problems?

I think if I just change to another theme (default), remove the actual version and upload the website version and active will work, but, I´m not sure what will happen when I remove the actual version and install a different version.

So, If someone can help me I really appreciate.

    And thanks in advance!

    Regards,

    Eduardo Cella

  • Hi Eduardo. Here is a thread that discusses the upgrade. Basically what you do is activate another theme (like the default Twenty Fourteen), delete the existing Hueman theme (or parent theme if you’re using a child theme), install the new theme from the author’s web site, then either activate the new theme or reactivate your child theme. Any configuration settings you have will be saved and reused when you activate the new theme.
