• Hello,

I am getting this message on my WordPress dashboard. You are using an outdated API Key connection to Mailchimp, please migrate to the new OAuth authentication method to continue accessing your Mailchimp account by clicking the “Migrate to OAuth authentication” button on the Mailchimp settings page.

Now in the first place I can’t find that button to migrate when I go to the settings page. And in the second place will the plugin keep working if I don’t migrate? As I don’t really want to.

    Sincerely,

    Mieke

@ragnel the Migrate to OAuth authentication” button should be near the top of the Mailchimp settings page, here’s a sample screenshot: https://ibb.co/WNPGfgML.

You currently do not have to migrate, but its most likely that eventually the API Key connection will be discontinued in favor of the more secure OAuth authentication method. So, as you’re able, I’d recommend migrating to OAuth so that you don’t find yourself later having to do so in a more emergent manner.

    Hi Jeffrey,

Thank you for your reply. I do get the warning message on the main page of the dashboard asking me to upgrade but the button is not where you indicate it should be. I can’t upload attachements here but I went to the page you indicated [took a screenshot] but the button is just not there.

    Sincerely,

    Mieke

@ragnel can you provide a site health info export so we can try and replicate your setup to see if there’s a conflict with another plugin perhaps?
