I’m not sure what you meant by database plugins. Could you please mention the plugin name you use?
Regarding Anti Spam, Forminator provides integration with Akismet and Clean Talk as mentioned in the following doc:

So you can any of those plugins and also use features such as Honeypot and Captcha within the form settings to further reduce spam entries.

I’m sorry…I never saw your message. (Too much email coming in!)
The extensions used, in addition to CF7 itself, are:
Contact Form 7 Spam Killer, Contact Form CFDB7, Honeypot for Contact Form 7, and ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7. (At one point, we were having a serious issue with spam submissions.)
I am hoping I can delete some of those extensions!

In this case you will have the equivalents of those in Forminator itself, out of the box, those just need a bit of setup and you will be ready to go.
Spam Killer – as Adam mentioned, this is available as intergrations with popular antispam plugins.
CF7DB – Forminator already stores and displays the submissions in the Submissions submenu, so you’re already covered.
Honeypot – this is built into the plugin as well, you can enabled this on each form’s edit screen on the Behaviour tab.
reCaptcha – integration with reCaptcha and hCaptcha is also included out of the box, you can set that up in Forminator > Settings > Captcha and pick from various options.

Thank you for the detailed response. I will most likely be removing CF7 shortly, since Forminator seems to be a much richer package (I love the availability of Conditional Logic!).
