Hi
thanks for your interest. There is no specific upgrade path, but the shortcode name is the same, so you can just switch the two. I don’t know what happens when both are activated, though.
What I did is removed the old and installed the new one, and all my maps/shortcodes worked out of the box.
The one thing that is *not* taken over for now are saved shortcodes.
I am working on support for editing shortcodes, and hopefully will include a carry-over functionality for saved shortcodes, too.
I hope that answered your question
Norbert
Thank you for taking over. Please put on your homepage link to WP repository. It was difficult to find your plugin.
Hi Stagger,
which page do you mean?
On http://www.preining.info/software-dev.html there are links to the dedicted page on the blog, to the wordpress site, and the github development site.
On the dedicated page on the blog http://www.preining.info/blog/software-projects/slick-google-map-plugin/ under “Download” there is the link the the WP page.
Do I miss a location, or do you have a different suggestion?
Thanks
Norbert
Not sure anymore what website I was looking in. Sorry.
Can you add in JS for Info windows to be open on pageload ?
Owner of previous plugin refused to do it, for some reason I dont know.
@stagger: For now I cannot decide, but please open a wishlist request on github to remind me.
Seems that this is resolved.
