migrating to https

    My podcast feed has been coming directly from a shared server on Bluehost for a year. Until a couple of weeks ago my weekly audience was <300, so that’s worked out fine. Audience numbers are steadily increasing so this week I’m migrating to a Bluehost VPS with plenty of hard drive space and bandwith. With luck, migration will be complete by next weekend. I want to switch to https after that. Are there any issues with the SSP plugin going from http to https? Can I just change the feed in the plugin? Would like have as little downtime as possible. Thanks!

    Hi @artisthouse

    Are you going to be putting up a 301 redirect from http to https once this goes live? If you do that then podcasting directories should recognize just the new https URL and that will update shortly in places like iTunes. Alternatively you can just update the feed URL with the new https inside itunesconnect.apple.com
