    Hey!
recently i was trying to migrate my one of the website from one hosting to another, but in that there eas a fatal error of wordfence-waf.php file .
so what i did is came back to my older hosting then website is running perefectly so there i just went to my wp dashboard and gone to wordfence and uninstalled as removing extended protection and all those stuff, now what else do i needed to do??
Do i needed to deactivate the plugin or remove certain files or like something??

  • If you remove ‘extended protection’ that should remove the files, or the code from the files, that tells the waf to load first. Or, if you prefer, when you migrate the site just don’t take over the .user.ini or wordfence-waf.php files. That’s where the specific file paths needed for the files to load are stored. Then after you migrate just set the firewall up again. Personally, I always like installing my plugins from scratch. If you want the settings, etc from the old site, use the import/export functionality on the Wordfence Tools > Import/Export page.
