Migration process not available for media and custom post types?

    I followed these instructions to migrate my website from Groups 1.x to 2.x. Bulk editing worked fine – except a) in the media library and b) with my custom post type where i could not set the new groups in bulk edit mode.

    Am I missing something?

    So to answer this question myself:

    a) The media library does not have the bulk editing feature at all. Therefore you cannot bulk edit group assignments in the media library.

    b) What I experienced was probably related to the Admin Columns plugin: If you don’t make the «Groups» column visible in your list view, then the field is hidden in bulk edit as well.
