Migration to https

Hi guys,

I’m sorry if I missed something but is there an option to help switch from http to https?
In this 2016 article, there is a mention of “Set protocol for canonical URLs” with an option to choose between http and https.
Is that gone in the current version?

1. I can see a canonical option but how can I ensure http urls reference https urls to avoid duplicate content?

2. Should everything be done through my .htaccess?
