Hello, the bundle configuration had a minimum quantity requirement, and it was possible to choose a default quantity of 0 before the update. However, since the update, when I set the minimum quantity to 2 in the custom quantity, I am unable to set the default quantity to 0.

Originally, each item in the bundle was optional, allowing customers to choose one or more items, with a minimum quantity of 2 for each item if selected. However, it has now changed to a bundle where each item requires a minimum of 2 pcs. I would like to know if there is any solution to resolve this issue.

    Hi aaaamans,

Before the plugin update version 8.0.0, the Min/Max limits will be applicable to all subitems inside a smart bundle equally.

However, since version 8.0.0, the Custom quantity option and Min/Max can be configured at the subitem level. So when you specify the min limit for a subitem to be 2, it means this item is required of at least 2 units. It’s not optional anymore. The default quantity cannot be 0 – this would make more sense, right?

In case you would like to make sure customers choose at least 2 subitems for the bundle to be added to the cart, you can enter Min = 2 for the All items’ quantity limit option. Then you will be able to set the default quantity of each subitem to 0.

You can learn more about the new feature here: https://doc.wpclever.net/woosb/quantity-settings/custom-quantity/

    Best regards.

So currently, I have six items in the bundle and Quantity limits set to 6pcs. I still want to set the min quantity of each subitem to 2 if selected and not selected subitem stay 0. Is it not possible to set like this with the current version?

    Hi aaaamans,

It’s technically conflicting to do as you want, to be honest. If a subitem has a min quantity other than 0, it’s not optional anymore. Buyers can’t remove it from the bundle. It should work as in my description for smart bundles since version 8.0.0.

    Best regards.
