mingle set up issues

hi i’m having an issue getting mingle to install on my wp page. i’m new to wp and am not a thechie really so it’s tricky to say the least. I can’t get to add a moderator to the forum or even find where the bloody forum is! i have added a user and tried to add him as a moderator and the admin as a moderator but it wont work. and where to i find the forum link on the dashboard? please help i’m quite clueless really. thanks.
