Mini cart and scroll bars

    My setup consists of wordpress 4.8, storefront 2.2.4 and woocommerce 3.0.9. Not sure if this is a storefront or woocommerce issue. If I add more than 6 items to the cart then mouse over the mini cart, the mini cart has no scroll bars. If I refresh the page and check the mini cart the scroll bars are now functional. If I click on a product and when the page first opens the mini cart has scroll bars. If I add this product to the cart and check the mini cart, scroll bars are gone and mini cart shows a long list of products added. I have added enough products to bring the mini cart list to the bottom of the page with no scroll bars unless I refresh the page.

    Also if I log out with more than 6 items in the cart and then log back in, the mini cart has no scroll bars but shows a long list of products. This causes the My Account page to display 2 page scroll bars but no mini cart scroll bars. The second scroll bar appears about 3 seconds after My Account page loads.

    I am using a child theme so I switched themes to the native storefront, disabled all plugins except woocommerce, made sure to remove all plugins from the mu-plugins folder, but the problem still persists.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @carver1g,

    The to confirm for you the minicart is part of the Storefront theme and not WooCommerce itself. 😉

    Cross testing it seems like currently, the scroll bar will only display after the page has been refreshed or reloaded and has no functionality to add the scroll out with a page refresh at the moment from what I can tell.

    This would also explain why when you add an additional product to the cart the page needs a refresh for the scroll to reactivate again.

    I have created a thread on the official Storefront developer board with regards to this to see if it’s something which could be enhanced in the future.
