@jowo “Minify HTML” would work well together with a page caching feature, something that Asset CleanUp doesn’t support, at least at this time. At the moment, there are plenty of features that, when added up, are using around 0.2s from the page load (when page cache is not used, like when the page is accessed by the administrator). However, combined with Cloudflare, Varnish, WP Rocket, or any other page caching solution, Minify HTML could work well. The reason it wasn’t added yet was: not enough demand for it and the fact that there were problems with using this feature on certain websites (e.g. Revolution Slider was something broken when the HTML source was minified).
Thanks for the suggestion! You’re definitely not the first one (and not the last for sure) that requests this feature, thus, I will add it to the feature requests list and think of a way to implement it without interfering with “Minify HTML” that is implemented with other plugins such as Autoptimize, WP Rocket, etc.

The plugins you mentioned seems to overlap in functionality a lot with this plugin. I prefer not installing more of the same just to get that final functionality.
Would be great if it was an option.
Thanks.
