• It ‘s a great plugin, but I have one issue. When adding files to Javascript or CSS minify, I would expect choosing Template: Full-width (in the Moesia theme) to make that file apply to only Full-width templates.

Instead, that file is only minified on that page, but the file remains linked and unminified on the front-page template, where it stands by default.

How can I make this perform in the right way?

  • The problem with W3 is its not the best in detecting specific pages for instance if you only load WooCommerce scripts & styles on those pages it can’t detect them.

Therefore, I recommend using an alternative plugin. I use Autoptimize since I have a lot of specific css like yours.

I hope this helps (if you don’t have any more questions please mark this as solved)

Thank you Destac. I installed Autoptimize, but I could not find an option to add scripts only to a certain template. Detecting is not my problem with W3, but adding of scripts to templates.

You don’t know how ao works.

Ao does that automatically for you meaning you don’t need to do anything after its enabled. It scans each page for the JS and CSS and makes a file for it.

Thanks! I see how it works. I think I can use it.
