Minimal configuration

Hi,
we would like to use your plugin to create more than the standart user roles. We need this for an upcoming forum on our website. The forum-plugin itself manages the permissions accessing the board(s). Two questions:
1. Do you think your plugin is the right choice?
(Or do you have a more “simple” one)
2. Could you help us with some hints how to configure the plugin “minimal”?
