MINIMALIX Post Layouts

I think awhile back I tried to play with Post layout formats and changed the standard format of a single post to “Gallery” under the Settings Menu > Writing. However, I really don’t like that it split the page into two columns and the featured image is taking up the entire first column, e.g. here .

I tried to switch the standard layout back to “Standard” and then made sure that in the Minimalix panel, the post layout was set to full-page/full-width, but all of my posts are still in two columns, the first always featuring the Featured Image. I need the Featured Image for my homepage “Portfolio”, so I can’t just get rid of it. Anyone know how I can make my posts full-width again?
