Minimum and Maximum Volumes

    Hi

    I see that with your premium plugin you can set minimum order values and minimum quantities.

    Is it possible to set minimum (and maximum) volumes. This would be based on adding up the total of the multiplied dimensions (i.e. volume) of each product.

    This would be useful when you have a standard sized shipping container and a customer has to fill it (above and below a certain percentage of the total container volume) before placing an order.

    If your premium plugin does not offer this functionality, do you think an experienced Woocommerce plugin developer would be able to add this? And get alerts in the same way as customers do for minimum value and minimum quantities. E.g get alert saying container now 80% full, cannot add any more products.

    Hi callummaclure,

    This sounds like custom functionality that you’re after so you’ll need to engage a developer. Our plugins are very developer friendly, full of actions and filters to use, etc.

    Correct, we do support min quantity of products and also min order amounts (subtotal and total quantity), but not anything to do with volume.

    I think what you’re probably after would be a shipping extension that would do this. Something like Table Rates perhaps? If you do end up using that, we fully integrate with it so you can use the two side by side.
